December saw a rare bit of solo recorder playing from me with the premiere of Palingenesis. A duet for bass recorder and piano Palingenesis tells the story of Baldr, a god of light, and how his death brought darkness to the world in the form of the winter solstice before he was reborn at Ragnarok.
